Walls for marine works

“Reconstruction of the Schelfvliet outlet at Gravelines.”
About the project

The site chose to use Spie Batignolles emPrinte 3d printing technology for its curved walls.

A total of 27 prefabricated elements were delivered to the site, ready to be installed by the team using lifting clamps.

The 4 walls have different lengths and radii of curvature. They are cut into elements sized to take up the thrust of the concrete and eliminate dry joints in the structure.
