xHEAD
The xHEAD is the core of your 3D printing system. From single-component to multi-admixture configurations, each level unlocks new capabilities in material control and print quality.
Where should your printer’s intelligence live?
That’s the real question behind “1K or 2K”: inside the material, or in how the system is controlled. The xHEAD 2K also runs in 1K mode: you choose, and you can move that choice whenever a project calls for it.
How many admixtures are injected at the nozzle? This determines your level of material control.
1K Mono
No admixture at the nozzle. The material is ready to print without modification. The paste is at the limit of pumpability - it must hold its shape immediately.
2K Multi
1 admixture (setting accelerator). The paste is liquid and self-placing - easy to pump with no risk of setting in the pipes. The accelerator freezes the shape instantly at the nozzle.

Adapt Upgrade
The first admixture controls setting. The second adds a functional capability. Same head, different calibration.
Color
The second admixture colors the material on demand. Automated digital color precision. Full aesthetic freedom.
Control
The second admixture modifies rheology at the nozzle. Maximum control over consistency and performance.
Sprint Upgrade
By placing flow control directly at the print head, full control on material flow is enabled.
Start & Stop
On/off flow control at the nozzle. Hollow structures with simple toolpaths.
Dynamic Flow
Variable flow rate synchronized with robot speed. Print fast without quality loss.
