Robots collaboration

“Two robots were calibrated to work simultaneously in the printing of this wall.”
About the project

Why use one robot when you can use two? For this wall, we calibrated two of our systems to work in perfect, simultaneous harmony. While the first robot held the window frame exactly where it needed to go with pinpoint accuracy, the second robot kept right on printing the concrete seamlessly around it.

This dual-robot tag team shows just how flexible and intelligent XtreeE technology really is. Instead of the traditional, tedious method, printing a solid wall, waiting for it to cure, and then manually cutting out a hole for a window, we can now integrate external structural elements on the fly. The window becomes a perfectly fused, native part of the wall right from the start.

By automating this coordination, we’re completely eliminating manual positioning errors, saving massive amounts of time, and keeping the workflow moving without interruption. It’s a glimpse into the future of construction, where hardware and software team up to make building complex, feature-rich walls faster and smarter than ever.
