L'Archipel
We got to leave our mark on VINCI’s massive "Archipel" headquarters right in the heart of the La Défense business district. Across this sprawling 76,000 m² construction site, we supported the design and 3D printed 95 custom planting boxes and 11 benches to help bring the campus to life.
The coolest part of this project? Every single piece of furniture has its own completely unique shape. Traditional manufacturing would require a different, expensive mold for each individual design, but our tech unlocks total form creativity. We can print customized, organic geometries one after the other without hitting the brakes or blowing the budget.
Mass-producing unique pieces like this also brought huge productivity gains and boosted construction site safety. By handling the fabrication efficiently and precisely, we kept the workflow moving fast. Plus, because we only use the exact amount of concrete needed for each custom shape, we achieved massive waste reduction, proving that high-volume urban design can be both incredibly striking and sustainable.
