Double sine wall
For the 77th Congress of the USH, 3D printing pioneer XtreeE teamed up with social landlord Habitat 76 to showcase a groundbreaking 3D-printed concrete wall measuring 2.5 meters long and 2 meters high. This collaboration highlighted how advanced manufacturing can revolutionize public housing by creating smarter, highly optimized structures.
The wall’s design features an innovative double sine internal structure, which provides immense strength while using significantly less material than traditional methods. Back then the printing took five and a half hours to complete, the technology has evolved rapidly. Today, thanks to XtreeE’s new "sprint" and "adapt" options, this exact same wall could be printed in just 1.5 hours.
This drastic leap in production speed underscores why XtreeE’s technology is reshaping the construction industry.
